Today reading online news is the only way to be updated but what is the main problem with the news websites. They take lot of time to load all the multimedia content. All of us like magazines to read latest news. Google is now again jumping in the news market with its new product “fast flip”. It’s the next generation news site that will change the way you browse news on the internet.

Using “fast flip” you can flip bundles of recent news and articles it’s the tool that combines the best elements of print and online articles. As the name suggests, flipping through content is very fast, so you can quickly look through a lot of pages until you find something interesting.

Read the Google’s post about this new experiment here.
Take a tour of Fast flip.
Sure, the online news reading experience could be improved, but Fast Flip is more of a tangential approach than it is a step in a revolutionary direction.

It looks similar to Google Earth facility. Bhuvan brings a whole lot of uniqueness in understanding our own natural resources whilst presenting beautiful images and thematic vectors generated from varieties of geospatial information.

Today Web Developers are being targeted by a nasty infection called malware. When somone visits a infected page, the page installs a infection on their machine that silently copies the passwords stored in ftp clients like coreftp, CuteFTP, filezilla and possibly other File Transfer Protocol client software. After copying that information this virus sends it to a remote host, and then this host is authorized to access the site the credentials of which has been stolen.

After the infection some sites are crashed and some continue to operate but again they continue this process of information collecting. The way this infection is spreading is somewhat interesting.

“Twitter is one of the junction where you can get infected with tiny urls”

How This Malware affect SEO

If a infected website is running on the web, it’s search traffic will plummet. As the search engines are aware of this attack and are fighting with it from several years. For example Google may label “This site may harm your computer” if your site is infected.

Within one and a half year Google have investigated billions of URLs and found more than three million unique URLs on over 180,000 web sites automatically installing Malware.

Check out this graph for the sites that are labeled as harmful over the time

Google reported that malware infected pages had increased to more than 1% of all search results. Check out this report of Google for further information about it.

Google has observed that the majority of malware was hosted on web servers located in China.

Web is becoming more dangerous and suspicious.

Do your part honestly to make the web safer.

Some users might think that it is a simple but if you are a regular user, you will fall in love with that design. Its actually an innovative “graphical user interface.”

Google submitted the patent application for the design of its home page back in year 2004 along with the designs of its search result pages, and yesterday the patent was awarded to Google. Google patent is a simple search box with only two buttons.

Google patent document:

Today the name “Google Wave” is all around. Google wave is Google’s new Communication and Collaboration platform. Wave is currently available for only developer preview and Google will launch it for the public later this year.

So what the Google wave is, have a look at this video and imaging what is possible in a browser:

Google Wave seems like a new in-browser communication and collaboration tool that is already being hailed by some as the next evolution of email. The concept behind Google Wave is to “unify” communication on the web. Discussions are too live in Google Wave. It combines the concepts of email, web chats, instant messaging, social networking and lot more in a single window.

What are main features of Google Wave ?

Google wave have several stunning features including:

Embedding: Waves can be embedded in any blog or website.

Wiki: Like a wiki anything written in waves can be edited by anyone as the platform is shared so anyone can correct the information or edit if required.

Real Time: Its really Real Time, as you can see in the above video the user will see every keystroke of yours instead of waiting for Enter to be pressed.

Drag and Drop Sharing: If you’ve watched the video you might wonder that what quality of sharing Google is going to provide. No need to attach a file just need to drag to wave.

Playback feature: By using playback feature you can playback the conversation and see step by step conversation over there.

Here is the preview of Google Wave window:

How can Google Wave help in SEO?

Google Wave is a real time communication platform, so it depends on the way how that communication is being performed. Though you can embed waves in your web pages and it seems that it will provide some SEO benefits as in the case of Google gadgets, but here Google may create a doubtful condition.

This will be likely be done in much the same manner as embedding videos, which is done through iframes, a non-SEOable web feature. So if Google is providing the facility of linkback then only it will be beneficial to the author otherwise not.

But leaving the link back part we can use this stunning tool as a social marketing and sharing tool.
While Google Wave is definitely not a first and foremost SEO tool, I do think that web developers will find ways to use it to improve the optimization on their sites using Google Wave.
