After a long fight of five years Google attorneys have finally convinced federal bureaucrats to bestow a patent on the company’s iconic home page. Google’s iconically simplistic home page interface is now a patent.

Some users might think that it is a simple but if you are a regular user, you will fall in love with that design. Its actually an innovative “graphical user interface.”

Google submitted the patent application for the design of its home page back in year 2004 along with the designs of its search result pages, and yesterday the patent was awarded to Google. Google patent is a simple search box with only two buttons.
